I have heard people ridicule those who are joyous and upbeat by calling their messages “hopium.“ It is a derogatory comment that I have only heard expressed by hopeless or pessimistic people.
I have found that for those who are joyously engaged in life and envisioning a positive future, Hope may not be a focus of attention because they have embodied Hope and/or a similar vibration, such as Joy or Satisfaction.
Those who are in despair need Hope more than anyone. At that time, Hope is like oxygen when they are gasping for breath. Laughing is a wonderful way to bring oxygen into the body and create an upbeat consciousness.
Hope is such an important dynamic for us all. Without it, life is bleak. If you do not like the word, find another one of a similar vibration, like Joy or Peace or Confidence. But please do not make Hope a dirty word or ridicule those who use it.
If you have excess Love and Joy and Hope, please share with others to assist them in finding Hope within themselves.
