Hi phamily!! I have missed you all!! I have been busy taking care of some friends that I have known for 30 years and they were both hospitalized. The husband fell and ended up going to a rehab and now in an Assisted Living Facility. The wife after visiting him one evening in the hospital starting getting very very sick. She called an ambulance and was rushed into emergency surgery due to a huge hernia that had blocked food from going into her stomach. During surgery they found that the hernia had pushed all her internal organs into different places inside her body. Her heart, lungs, liver, were all compromised because the hernia had been encroaching on them. Luckily the hospital located a thoracic surgeon that was able to repair the mess. She was then put on a feeding tube and draining tube. I have been staying with her for quite some time now to help her with all of that since she has no family near her that could help.
